GET GORGEOUS WAVES- WITH A STRAIGHTENER . . . ♥

Want to know how to get amazing deep defined wavy hair?
With... a straightener..?
Read on! (:
(Note: i did not copy any of the information/instructions that are below from other sites, books, etc. Every detail has been written by me!)

You Will Need:
*Hair Brush
*Flat iron/straightener (whatever you call it)
*Heat Protection Spray
*Bobby Pins/ Hair binders

♥ Step One: For easiest waving, you want straight, easy to work with hair. So if your hair isn't straight, straighten it now.

*tip* Straightening AND waving your hair with hot tools is not the best thing for your hair. So remember to always spray your hair with heat protection spray (i also like when it is anti-frizz too) BEFORE you use any hot tools on your hair. You don't want to damage it.

♥ Step Two: Hair straight? Now brush your hair completely. You want NOOO frizz (:

♥ Step Three: If you want to part your hair on one side- or in the middle, whatever, do it now. It's a lot harder to part when you're finished waving. Also, if you want to pull your bangs to the side, or on top of your head, making a "bump", do it now. Its usually easier to work with straight bangs then wavy ones, and believe me it will look a lot cuter. (:
♥ Step Four: Are you planning on doing anything extra after you wave your hair? Like a braid off to the side? If so, gather the hair you will need for that and clip it up onto your head and away from your face, so it won't be waved.
♥ Step Five: Take your straightener and clamp down at the top of a 1 or 2 inch piece of hair, by your scalp. (I only wave the top layer of hair)
*Tip* Waving 1 inch sections will have a curlier & fuller look, whereas 2 inch sections will have bigger, more spread out waves.
♥ Step Six: Make sure your straightener is horizantal. Then flip it up, (still horizantal) and hold for about 5-1O seconds, depending on your hair thickness and how long a curl usually holds in your hair.
♥ Step Seven: Now flip it down, under your hair, (still horizantal) and hold. Then release the clamp. You should have a beautiful wave!
♥ Step Eight: Now, on that SAME piece of hair, clamp down again, a few inches down. Repeat steps Six & Seven.
♥ Step Nine: If you have longer hair, keep waving down each piece of hair at about 2 inch intervals.
♥ Step Ten: Keep waving all of your hair! (only top layer.)
Want it even fuller? Add a wave in where ever you think you need an extra one! Have fun, go crazy! Make your head of waves look beautifully messy (:
*i hope this tutorial worked out for you guys! Please comment if i made any mistakes in explaining it! Also comment with ideas for a new post! thanks (:*
